The National Council for Culture, Art, and Letters invited EME3 to participate to their lecture series, Al thulth Al Akheer (the last third), a lecture series taking place once during the last third of every month, covering architectural production, and the common zone between space, art and society.
This initiative emerged to expand the idea of creating a local platform with a capacity to initiate an international dialogue. The content of the lecture series is curated around three themes: Plat-Form, Method, and Neo-Local. Plat-Form The practice of platforms as a social habit, and a body that hosts as well as generates, relates to how knowledge is being shaped and exchanged. This theme is addressed by discussing regional and international experience in developing cultural infrastructures, affecting the notion of the public.
