EME3-Elisava-Zuloark trilateral partnership.
El MEATS (Master Degree in Ephemeral Architecture and Temporary Spaces Design at Elisava School) collaborates con EME3 and Zuloark, on the design and construction of an intervention in the ‘Jardí del Silenci’, a neigh-boring self-managed space in Gracia . The ‘Jardí the Silenci’ is a space recovered for the neighborhood thanks to a long mobilization of the neighbors, whose aim is to transform it into an outdoors civic center. Currently, this space is used daily as a self managed kinder-garden, as a place to practice tai-chi and other activities organized by the neighbors. The objective of this project is to give the Jardí a versatile infrastructure to consolidate, diversify and increase its use. The initial phase of this process, developped by students of the Master Degree and coordinated by its directors, Toni Montes and Roger Paez, is presented in this edition of EME3. The design and construction workshop led by Zuloark will be held during the month of March 2016.
